Amazon Program Manager, IN AMXL Supply Chain in Bengaluru, India

Description

This role involves driving critical decisions with cross functional teams and senior leadership; and demands strong program management skills along-with an ability to drive data driven discussions. The candidate is expected to have exceptional analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills along with preferred experience in Sales & Operations Planning and network configurations.

The incumbent will own the following -

1) Responsible for working with Operations, Finance, External fulfillment and other Amazon teams to identify and systematically solve pain points

2) Responsible for driving cost benefit analysis and go/no-go decisions on various initiatives

3) Once a go decision is made, the program manager will work to evolve a plan and timeline for execution.

4) The program manager will develop a roadmap and metrics to measure progress of the initiative they own. They will also own writing reports that detail the progress to leadership on a frequent basis

5) Liaise across functions to drive their project and help clear issues and bottlenecks.

6) Work with technology teams to scope out and drive any tech changes that are needed

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
