Amazon Program Manager, Brand Registry, KrisSrir in Bengaluru, India

Description

Amazon seeks a talented Program Manager to join the Marketplace Trust team for its Brand Registry (BR) charter.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for building relationships with rights owners and brand managers in India to assist them in on-boarding the information needed to protect their brand on Amazon marketplace. This role will support intellectual property verification efforts, research and audits aligned with the vision of creating the world’s authoritative brand data store and the perfect Brand interaction. In this highly collaborative role, the program manager will establish new standards and engagement guidelines to improve the brand experience on Amazon India.

As an advocate for the Brand, you will be an essential part of a testing mechanism, where we will iterate, learn and eventually scale experiences that will provide the perfect support experience for our Brands. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies, processes and tools to address product integrity challenges in collaboration with teams across Amazon. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, expertise in using SQL to extract data, experience building relationships with internal and external teams, and the ability to deliver results. They must be flexible and action-oriented, capable of dealing with ambiguity, have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key job responsibilities

Drive programs and influence relevant stakeholders for seamless experience of entities registering on Brand Registry

Build mechanisms to enable coordination and scale for Brand Registry and Brand Protection Processes for the IN marketplace

Partnering with business and legal teams to handle brand specific escalations

Generate program insights and share recommendations with product/tech team to streamline processes.

Track, measure and report on key metrics to demonstrate the impact of the program and to constantly iterate and improve on that impact.

Operate with a high degree of independence. This role requires a curious, self-starting, fast learner who thrives in ambiguous, challenging spaces.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
