Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Responsibilities and Skills required:

• Lead and provide technical services as part of development and Implementation activities of Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking product. Both offshore as well as Onsite at Customer location

• 8-10 years of excellent experience in Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML and J2EE, Microservices, SpringBoot, Ojet

• Implementation experience of Core Banking product specifically around DDA, Payments & Liquidity Management modules

• Experience in procedures, triggers and functions

• Able to lead medium to large technical team and guide them in their deliverables in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activities

• Able to develop programs, do Unit Testing, Integrate / Deploy units into intermediate environments and support the Testing cycles progressively as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle/Customer within planned schedule

• Usage of defined Standards/Tools/Processes/Change-Control-Steps and document all work to achieve deliverable that meet Quality/Audit/Compliance expectations of Oracle/Client

• Coordinate with various stakeholders in projects for extension deliveries, implementation of Patchset, fixes etc.

• He/she will need to successfully manage Customer Relationship and respond / address any initial escalations from Customer

• Ability to understand client requirements and map them to ‘off-the-shelf’ products or product features to decide whether they would be more suitable than building a new system from scratch

• Ability to interact and communicate with client Business and IT teams independently

• Analyze solution approaches, estimations, best practices, project risks and recommendations

• Participate and lead, the project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer

• Excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills, proven ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications

• Excellent knowledge of banking terminologies, concepts and processes

• Good communication & documentation skills in English

• Analyze solution approaches, estimations, best practices, project risks and recommendations

• Good Team management skills

• Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving project milestones and maintaining momentum of the project

• Utilize a mix of global resources within a matrix environment

• Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks

• Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions either as software solutions or as re-engineering initiatives

• Quickly assesses customer needs, develops innovative plans to solve complex business workflow

• Hands on Expertise in Deployments, Backup/Restore Operations and Source Control tools

• Candidate should have hands-on Development, Implementation and / or production support experience with any Core Banking product, ideally Oracle Flexcube UBS

Secondary Skills

• Working knowledge of Oracle development tools, WebLogic server deployments

• Awareness of latest technologies in Banking

• Functional knowledge of Banking systems

• Experience on development and implementation of Interfaces, Batch operations, Trouble shooting and resolution of issues encountered in Testing cycles

• Technical and business knowledge in Core banking will be an added advantage

• Exposure to software development processes and practices, Testing tools

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
