Google People Consultant in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience working in a HR role.

  • Experience in HR business partnering, people programs, or other people-related roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing.

  • Experience coaching and mentoring others.

  • Experience with data, analysis, trends, and reports.

People Experience (PX) is the team at Google that delivers extraordinary, hire-to-retire experiences for Googlers in the moments that matter most. The team delivers global Human Resource (HR) processes (with regional nuance where needed) that are personalized and delightful for millions of candidates and 175k+ Googlers. PX teams span Recruiting, Analytics and Planning, HR Operations, Vendor Management, Service Model Excellence, and Googler- and Market-level HR support.

  • Deliver dynamic consultations around a variety of HR topics aligned to the People Operations (POps) Menu of Services such as performance enablement, team/manager/leader effectiveness, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, navigating transitions.

  • Contribute to deployment of HR programs and processes for a business area, Product Area (PA) or market via dynamic consultations.

  • Seek opportunities to identify, recommend, and advance long-term, scalable and simplified solutions to drive continuous improvements in people processes.

  • Identify key business/product or market areas and GE/POps stakeholders to build networks and contribute to cross-team collaboration.

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Google-wide HR policies, local/market legal and regulatory knowledge, of Google-wide HR policies and the POps’ Menu of Services and understand how to navigate the POps ecosystem in order to effectively service Googlers, managers and leaders.
