As a Marketing Manager with Amazon Selling Partner Services India, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to seller success on Amazon. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketer with deep customer/ seller lifecycle marketing knowledge and broad marketing experience across a wide span of disciplines including broad based seller segmentation, engagement, and/or content marketing. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision, comfortable working across complex process and capable of influencing sellers through self-serve mechanisms. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and drive the Lifecycle Marketing growth strategy and campaign approach, using seller cohort segmentation data to create actionable strategies; determine the optimal mix of channels, levers, and approaches to achieve key business KPIs/goals

  • Manage and own the campaign planning and execution of multiple digital acquisition and retention programs (including but not limited to web platforms & internal outbound channels like WhatsApp, email, SMS, IVRS, etc.), including program design and deployment, conducting in-depth analysis of results, and driving ongoing optimization.

  • Own the Seller Communication charter and bring in process efficiencies in the ongoing Communication Bar Raiser (CBR) program.

  • Spearhead seasonal event campaigns centrally, factoring in inputs across key product and program teams and providing the right recommendations to our sellers.

  • Manage strategically-driven product marketing calendar and oversee end-to-end process for the creative and content development to drive HVAs

  • Establish a robust, structured testing approach to unlock growth opportunities, validate hypothesis for investment, and inform strategic marketing bets

  • Create rigorous analytical processes and manage analytics framework to drive marketing efficiency, ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of marketing ROI and incremental value

  • Negotiate with key business partners (Product, Tech, Legal, PR & Finance) to gain alignment on new marketing plans/ programs/ features and ultimately manage all aspects of the project lifecycle

About the team

The IN Selling Partner Education and Communication (IN SPEC) team owns the short-term implementation of communication workstreams and the long-term strategic evolution of initiatives and solutions aimed at maximizing growth opportunities for sellers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 2+ years of working with creative teams, content managers and marketers to bring brand promise to life experience

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of segmentation and developing customer profiles experience

  • 2+ years of supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research experience

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
