The India Global Selling org. (INGS) enables Indian Sellers and Brands to sell on Amazon Marketplaces worldwide.Since it's inception in 2015 , INGS has enabled USD 8 billion dollars in cumulative exports worldwide and are looking to enable USD 20 Billion dollars in cumulative exports over the next two years. . Amazon Global Selling works towards growing the Amazon third party seller business around the world by enabling cross border sellers to sell on Amazon marketplaces and within that the INGS org. specifcally focuses on enabling Indian sellers and brands.

We are looking for a Head of New Seller Recruitment. This person will be responsible for recruiting new sellers on INGS. Ensuring a healthy flow of new sellers onto the platform is critical in driving the future growth trajectory of the business. The incumbent will have the exciting opportunity to independently lead the strategy for New Seller Recruitment in the long term (3-5 yr horizon) and ensure results delivery in the short term. This person will be responsible for deciding on the right mix of cohorts of sellers to recruit viz Exporters , Manufacturers ,D2C Brands and decide the right GTM for each of these cohorts. They will also be responsible for designing the right business and review mechanisms to hand hold the recruited sellers and ensure they are successful in the first year of launch .They will achieve these means by operating both 1:1 recruitment and 1 to many recruitment channels. They will work closely with key stakeholders like Marketing and Product teams to achieve key goals and objectives. This is a people management role with and the incumbent is expected to handle a large team with multiple layers of reporting .

This role reports into the Business Head for Amazon Global Selling.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales experience

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

  • Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience hiring and leading sales or account management teams focused on acquiring and managing enterprise customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders including Directors and VPs of procurement, CPOs, VP’s supply chain, and CIOs

  • Experience selling to large, medium and small merchants and successfully delivering a multi-million dollar sales quota
