IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Recruit, Develop, and Mentor talent, including applications engineers with unique expertise spanning multiple target industries and geographies

• Build and maintain the team’s overall expertise on Emerson Test & Measurement equipment and their applications

• Collaborate with Business Managers, Sales, Marketing & R&D teams to align the team's execution to growth strategies and short term business needs

• Engage with sales to drive mutual understanding and prioritization of efforts to achieve shared business goals

• Manage ambiguity and drive change management as business strategy evolves

• Drive engineering execution excellence in all areas of the team

• Handle special projects or tasks as assigned by management

WHO YOU ARE: You are an effective leader who efficiently directs teams and mentors staff. You excel in managing complexity, optimizing workflows, and driving execution. Your excellent communication skills enable seamless collaboration with collaborators, ensuring adaptive responses to challenges and successful project execution.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• 10+ years of experience in Engineering

• 5+ years of team or project management experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to travel (up to 25%), both domestic and international

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• 10+ years experience managing an engineering, application, or technical sales team

• 5+ years experience managing a distributed team across a larger geographic region
