Google Engineering Manager, Machine Learning, Google One in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the application of Machine Learning to real world problems/products.

  • Knowledge of Tensorflow.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Our team works across multiple product areas to identify, define and build premium experiences that add value and delight to our member's Google experience. The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). The products provide enterprises, and ultimately end users, the ability to utilize and manage their services at scale.   • Manage and coach a team of engineers.

  • Collaborate with our cross functional partners to identify key problems we want to solve on shipping quality solutions.

  • Collaborate with other product areas at Google who are are looking to go-to-market with their new capabilities.

  • Work with Machine Learning teams at Google to quickly adopt infrastructure where it makes sense.
