Role Summary:

The Engineering quality coordinator is responsible for independently conducting customer defects data analysis, comparing them with the quality and product safety targets and proposing process and design improvement projects for improving the overall engineering quality. The engineer will also support driving execution of these projects & continuously look for ideas for improving engineering quality.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer defects data and nonconformance data for engineering report out.

• Support Product safety board management by working with stakeholders and updating the different product safety cases information.

• Follow up the closure of Lesson Learned Cards for defects with an impact on safety or reliability.

• Consolidate and analyze the engineering process performance indicators for Engineering quality and OPS governance review.

• Consolidate and analyze engineering operations metrics like engineering efficiency, On-Time Delivery, cost productivity, global footprint % etc. for Engineering quality and OPS governance review.

• Coordinate with the Data Analytics team to digitalize the different metrics and indicators by means of PowerBI dashboard or similar means.

• Support continuous improvement activities related to product design practices.

Qualification/Requirements:

• B.E/ B.Tech degree in engineering discipline from institute of repute

• Min. 3 -5 years of experience in quality (engineering/production/process)

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience in quality management system and process assurance

• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Proven ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions

• Strong Leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
