Job Overview
This is a greenfield program of work to replace the existing PPM solution with a tapestry of COTS and bespoke .Net development using a microservice architecture in Azure.
Responsibilities for Net Developer
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Write unit tests and drive code from those tests
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding
• Contribute to cloud design in Azure
• Create proof of concepts to prove assumptions
• Develop client displays and user interfaces
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
Qualifications for Net Developer
• Familiarity with design patterns and pattern of enterprise application architecture
• Expert knowledge of SOLID principles
• 4 years of development experience using C# Core
• Proven track record of driving software design from Test Driven Development
• Knowledge of at least one other OO language (e.g. C++, Java) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, gRPC)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Able to work well in a team setting
