Associate Manager – Contracting Global Procurement Capability Centre in Bengaluru will be an individual contributor and supporting the contracting capabilities within a newly formed Capability center to enable delivery of Global Procurement responsibilities at Regeneron. The role will be demonstrating a systemic approach for buying goods and services while applying procurement applications to provide efficient and effective contract execution.

The role will maintain consistency, scalability and efficiency for repeatable, location agnostic contracting across Global Procurement. In addition, working with colleagues globally, your responsibilities could include requesting proposals, negotiation with suppliers, sophisticated contracting and execution.

In this role typical day might include performing the following:

• Accountable for implementation of contracting approaches with category strategies to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.

• Supports sophisticated contracting activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.

• Supports sophisticated negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities while ensuring compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable

• Takes direction and provides input to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.

• Works closely with partners and legal, as needed, to support discussions related to the contract assigned and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners

• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

• Coaches/mentors junior team members or colleagues in the department

This job might be for you if you:

• The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field of study plus relevant, dynamic experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma.

• 7+yrs of experience into Procurement contracting

• Establishes collaborations and supplier get results for Regeneron.

• Should demonstrate success supporting cross-functional teams, implementing category strategies through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

• Demonstrate insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable efficient negotiations.

• Uses external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to support negotiation strategy.

• Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to motivate change and improvement.

• Solid understanding with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

• Ability to demonstrate standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
