OTP is seeking a full-time Journeymen or Apprentice Electrical Line Worker to be temporarily located in Bemidji, MN. Line Workers days vary, and some duties will include maintaining or repairing overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations. They ll also frame and erect poles and attach necessary fixtures and equipment. They ll string, sag, and splice conductors (wires) and connect transformers and other equipment, trim trees, replace such equipment as broken insulators, split crossarms, cutouts, ties, faulty clamps, or braces, and perform similar replacement or repair work as necessary to clear up storm damage.
