Beltrami County Jail Training Officer in Bemidji, Minnesota
OPEN UNTIL FILLED; APPLICATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED EVERY TWO WEEKS Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for a full-time, benefited Jail Training Officer. The Jail Training Officer is a first line supervisory position responsible for the development and implementation of training plans for orientation of new employees, providing continuing in-service training programs for staff, and oversight of inmate classification and disciplinary hearings. The Jail Training Officer is also responsible for jail operations during his/her shift and the safety and security of the Beltrami County Adult Corrections Center through effective and efficient management of County staff and resources. Performs intermediate protective service work developing, monitoring, tracking and providing training for all Corrections Officers, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Assistant Adult Corrections Center Administrator. Occasional oversight is exercised over Corrections Officers.
