About the role

As part of the ongoing global engineering strategy we are currently recruiting for a Global Operational Security lead.

We are looking for an empowered leader with the required managerial and technical expertise to develop the operational controls to maintain the security and integrity of our operational facilities and equipment. These controls must address both virtual (interception from direct observation, data transmission and electromagnetic means) and physical security (policies and processes related to building/asset security, employees and contractors).Work closely with other Kerry functions such as Internal Audit, the successful candidate willensure a truly global approach and application of ICS /OT security standards.

Key priorities:

  • Act as a key stakeholder in design and implementation of a security standard for ICS / OT Security in line with the IEC62443 framework across Kerry Manufacturing sites in conjunction with Corporate ICT to protect Kerry operational assets

  • Develop the relevant parts of ISO/IEC 27001 (information security management systems), ISO/IEC 22301 (business continuity management) and ISO/IEC 55000 (asset management) into a set of playbook requirements for Kerry Manufacturing sites, including the relevant aspects of the NIST framework.

  • Facilitate safe use of IoT and other emerging technologies as part of the digital transformation within the Kerry facilities

What will I be accountable for?

As the Global Operational Security lead you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the single point of contact for Operations with IT/OT Security team for the development of the network security architecture to assure the security of data.

  • Managingthe inventory list of all operational assets and all the tools used to protect them (firewalls, antivirus/anti-malware/anti-ransomware tools, monitoring software, etc).

  • Managingthe Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) plans

  • Own the preventative maintenance plan such as applying software patches and upgrades, continually updating firewalls rules, whitelists/blacklists, security policies and procedures.

  • Actively seek improvements to the legacy infrastructure to identify risks and obsolescence in the system landscape, and define solutions

  • Manage the third party contracts, services and access control standards (like MFA, VPN)

  • Manage the catalogue of approved IOT sensors and other devices, such as programmable logic controllers, access systems, security systems which interface with process plant or machinery.

  • Ensure that the structure, standards, policies, and functional behavior of the IT/OT security measures and network features are properly documented (audit-ready) for implementation in our factories

  • Facilitate internal audits on physical security and vulnerability assessments on behalf of Manufacturing and ensure remediation of any findings of applications, security policies, best practices and incident response plans based on the results of these tests.

  • Build a communication plan to lead the change across the global regions and site in terms of cyber and physical security

  • Ensure the right talent, capabilities and training are in place to meet strategic objectives of the function

  • Improve the general Cybersecurity posture of manufacturing networks and working towards defence in depth.

What do I need to bring?

To be successful in this role we are looking for the right behaviours and competencies as well as a proven track record of success in a Senior Automation & Control related position. The ideal candidate will ideally have the following:

  • Higher degree (Bachelor/Master) in Automation, Controls, Engineering or Computer Science with Security qualification like CISSP etc

  • Significantrelevant experience in securing Industrial Control Systems, experience in FMCG or professional services environment is highly desirable.

  • Youll be a trusted expert within this feild.

  • Senior stakeholder management experience within a complex global matrix-based organisation

  • Impact and Influencing skills combined with calm assertiveness

  • Change leadership capability

  • Problem solving, prevention & decisive evidenced based decision-making

  • Strategic planning, execution & compliance

  • As our global business language, the candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and in writing. Global experience ishighly desirable.
