Haskell Corporation CNC Programmer/ Business Development Coordinator in Bellingham, Washington

Job Overview CNC Programmer/ Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service and pricing to clients. They will work closely with the Structural Steel Division Manager to develop pricing, standards, and procedures to grow the laser cutting service center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be customer service oriented. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review customer drawings and geometry files for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate resolution of discrepancies and/or missing information with customers, shop, and field
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Travel within the area to meet prospectives clients and customers, conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales growth
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
  • Monitor project schedules and support the schedule requirements of clients
  • Distribute and route drawings to the appropriate parties when necessary
  • Develop pricing for clients and manage order estimates as orders are received
  • Manage and maintain plate inventory and purchase materials as needed
  • Maintain vendor relationships and seek new vendors to ensure high quality standards
  • Maintain and allocate inventory material for job costing
  • Purchase laser cutting consumables and coordinate preventative maintenance
  • Oversee all laser cutting orders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the structural shop to ensure a quality product is produced
  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining a quality product

* Qualifications*

  • Minimum high school diploma or associate degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • 2D CAD preferred
  • SigmaNEST preferred
  • CNC Machines / CNC Programming preferred
  • TeklaEPM preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment
