Our client, a leader in logistics and warehousing, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver 1 to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver 1, you will be part of the Production Planning department supporting various teams including Purchasing, Operations, and Quality. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Picks and packs orders, including non-routine shipping requests from other departments.

• Ships domestic and international orders through small parcel and freight carriers using carrier software and/or website to create shipping documents.

• Performs inventory transactions, identifies Non-Conforming Material, and completes cycle counts as needed.

• Maintains Dangerous Goods certifications and processes these shipments as needed.

• Maintains flexibility with changing priorities as directed, which may include working overtime.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED.

• 1 year experience in warehousing & logistics and experience with ERP systems.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.

• Basic math, computer, and Microsoft Office skills.

• Able to work within a team environment with good time-management skills.
