Job Description

An employer is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team. This person will be joining a team of Site Reliability Engineers that are responsible for creating a "SRE Center of Excellence." They are looking to create best in class standards around the SRE practice enterprise wide. The Engineers are researching and drafting the policies, and the Technical Writer will be responsible for working with them to create easily consumable documentation. This person will also be responsible for creating status updates for executive level leadership

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer

Experience creating run books and technical documentation for development and operations teams

Experience working with technical SMEs such as Engineers and Architects

Experience working within DevOps/operations

Experience with GitLab, Markdown, and Dev Center

Portfolio or writing examples preferred

Experience working in ambiguous, fast paced environments

Ability to juggle multiple projects, and work with multiple teams

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or English, journalism, communications null
