Outstanding opportunity in Bellevue, WA for an innovative, strategic, and self-motivated law student for hands- on learning about how to handle the complexities of privacy law in a practical setting with one of the United States\' largest wireless telecommunications providers. Position requires a full-time dedication of time and energy; however, is rewarded with tangible work experience in a groundbreaking area of law. Law school student with strong academic record. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Curiosity in learning about privacy and technology. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Validated verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving skills, innovative, and strategic. Resourceful and well organized. General knowledge of wireless telecommunications industry legal landscape is a plus. Must live or have place to stay in Bellevue, WA. Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. This position pays \$40/hour. Directed by Privacy Counsel: Provide support to the Legal Privacy team at T-Mobile. Work with members of the Privacy team on a variety of legal privacy projects which may include providing business mentorship, analyzing new privacy laws for implementation, reviewing and/or drafting policies, and drafting and negotiating privacy terms in contracts. Work with internal clients to evaluate products for privacy impacts. Work with attorneys and technologists to tackle thorny privacy issues. Attend Legal Privacy meetings, prepare memorandum, documentation, communications, and compile other data/information for discussion or strategy preparation. Special projects on an as-needed basis.
