Sr. Software Development Engineer (Multiple Positions), Tesla, Inc., Bellevue, WA:

Autonomously design, develop, and maintain complex software systems for ingesting, querying, and processing data. Collaborate with colleagues in design and conduct code reviews. Develop means for deploying, scaling, and monitoring software systems. Characterize complex problems related to the scalability, reliability, performance, and security of the software. Own projects and always seeks ways to improve efficiency and operations. Drive other projects as required or as business needs change. Mentor junior engineers and review work product. Resolve escalated software issues. Implement Agile practices within software team.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week, $145,500 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience as a software developer or related role in embedded systems development, firmware development, and/or software development. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Experience must include: Java, C, C++, C# or other object-oriented language; Writing SQL-based applications using one of the following: MySQL, MS SQL or Oracle; Linux or similar OS; Building scalable applications (web applications or back-end services); Identifying and fixing bugs and writing quality code that runs efficiently; Agile practices, performing code reviews and CI/CD; and Performing root cause analysis and developing software fixes.
