Job Description

· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.

 · Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

 · Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.

 · Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

 · Automate repetitive testing tasks using appropriate tools and frameworks.

 · Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability.

 · Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

 · Proven experience as a Software QA Test Engineer or similar role (3-5+ yrs)

 · Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

 · Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

 · Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python.

 · Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

 · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 · Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills. - Experience with performance and security testing.

 - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Gitlab).

Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB). null
