Key job responsibilities

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service that enables third-party sellers to leverage Amazon's world-class logistics infrastructure to fulfill customer orders globally with fast delivery. The FBA Science team is seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead high-impact projects that drive billions in revenue.

In this role, you'll spearhead innovative initiatives across inventory, inbound, capacity, workforce management, and seller experience. Your efforts will ensure Amazon customers worldwide have access to the broadest selection of products through FBA sellers while driving cost efficiencies across the end-to-end supply chain. Additionally, you'll develop and test cutting-edge seller-facing innovations, collaborating with top product managers, research scientists, statisticians, economists, and software developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage new and existing programs, delivering complex projects and goals across teams and organizations

• Collaborate with partners to craft and implement scalable solutions

• Drive program communication, facilitating timely decisions, removing blockers, and escalating issues as needed

• Lead strategic planning and influence critical business initiatives

• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to prevent major issues

• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting, providing visibility into milestones and performance

• Communicate effectively with senior managers, business leaders, and stakeholders

• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success

• Evaluate and prioritize projects based on customer needs and technical team inputs

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service that allows sellers to outsource order fulfillment to Amazon, allowing sellers to leverage Amazon’s world-class facilities to provide customers Prime delivery promise. Sellers gain access to Prime members worldwide, see their sales lift, and are free to focus their time and resources on what they do best while Amazon manages fulfillment. Over the last several years, sellers have enjoyed strong business growth with FBA shipping more than half of all products offered by Amazon. FBA focuses on helping sellers with automating and optimizing the third-party supply chain. FBA sellers leverage Amazon’s expertise in machine learning, optimization, data analytics, econometrics, and market design to deliver the best inventory management experience to sellers. We work full-stack, from foundational back-end systems to future-forward user interfaces. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • 5+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
