Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Bellevue, Washington

The Microsoft Search, Assistant, and Intelligence team (MSAI) is looking for an experienced Product leader who can drive the next wave of communications intelligence in M365. We have an exciting opportunity to advance the state of the art in serving the most contextual relevant content recommendations, generating structured knowledge from enterprise communications, and enabling the next generation of delightful communications experiences. This leader will help drive in this transformative journey.

About MSAI:

Our team is responsible for enabling intelligence in Microsoft products like Outlook, Teams, Windows, and Cortana. Our products combine the cutting edge in cloud technology, AI, and product design. We have a diverse set of PMs with expertise in artificial intelligence, big data, and intelligent end-user experiences. We delight in digging deeper to understand our customers and enable delightful user experiences that anticipate people's needs, help them prioritize, and get started faster. We build coherent and consistent assistance throughout the M365 product suite, such as Focused Inbox, Suggested Replies, and other features that hundreds of millions of users rely on daily.



The person in this role will own and deliver innovative AI solutions that will help 100s of millions of knowledge workers deal with information overload and be more productive in Outlook, Teams, and other M365 tools. They will be responsible for delivering measurable impact for customers and business. The features they define will both leverage and contribute to, the cutting-edge AI capabilities in the Microsoft Graph and Azure, such as Generative language models, Reinforcement and Graph learning. They will partner closely with organizations across Microsoft to bring more assistance and intelligence into our product suite.


The best candidates will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Strong experience with and a passion for artificial intelligence within software products

  • Proven track record of effectively negotiating and collaborating across teams and organizations in matrixed environments.

  • Proven track record of delivering innovative software products/services to market

  • Strong understanding of business needs and translating that into system capabilities

  • Data-driven decision making and ability to drive measurable impact

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change while continuously delivering an evolving product

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of engineering PM experience (or equivalent)

  • BS/BA degree, MS preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles
