Location and travel requirements may vary per role. Applications to these opportunities are considered for all available Product Management roles, including but not limited to, those described below:

Product Management

Defines product vision and strategy by leveraging a deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market. Identifies short-and long-term investment opportunities, evaluates tradeoffs, and drives the product roadmap. Builds consensus on product strategy, prioritizes backlog and works with partners to align on trade-offs and disclosures.


  • Contributes to identifycustomers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of group of features or feature areas (e.g., product, service)

  • Understands and starts to build experiences across groups of features or feature areas (e.g., product, service).

  • Partners with others to identify data-informed, short-term investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments in consultation with cross-functional partners for a group of features or feature areas (e.g., product, service).

  • Collaborates with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering, to identify product release criteria, customer acquisition, usage, retention and monetization strategies


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is from $73,800 to $162,200 (60-62).

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
