Internships and volunteer work considered. Bachelor\'s degree Must be detail-oriented, with effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure, work independently with limited supervision and have solid problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with senior leadership and VIP attendees. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy Contract negotiation and budget management experience High level of creativity and \"rolled up sleeves\" working style Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed up to 25% as well as to work evenings and weekends based upon event demand. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Responsibilities Plan and manage logistics of domestic events including venue selection, food and beverage planning, A/V arrangements, and coordination of event materials and communications. Negotiate venue and hotel contracts and work with and manage outside vendors (DMC, photographers, AV providers, security, etc.). Process purchase orders and review event bills for accuracy as well as process invoices for payments. Create and manage event budgets Travel onsite to events as needed to for site selection and to manage onsite event operations. (approximately once a month for 2-5 days) Manage the set-up of event registration sites; create registration reports and respond to attendee inquiries and changes. Provide administrative support for event related activities. This support may include things such as shipping, presentation building, research, data management and more.
