Explore Microsoft is a 12-week summer internship program specifically designed for students in their first or second year of a bachelor’s degree program who would like to learn more about careers in software development through a collaborative learning program. Throughout the internship you will:
Gain hands-on experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development.
Work closely with your Manager, Mentors, and a group of interns to evaluate requirements, estimate costs, create and implement features and services.
Experience core tech disciplines (Technical Program Manager or Product Manager, and Software Engineer) during the 12-week internship.
Must be freshman (class of 2026) or sophomore (class of 2025) student, currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program within the United States, Canada or Mexico.
Demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or related technical major.
Completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent class) as well as one semester of calculus (or equivalent) by the start of the program.

The hourly rate for this role in state of Colorado is $36 per hour.
