Microsoft Corporation Director, US Surface Program GTM Manager in Bellevue, Washington
The US Marketing & Operations Surface team is looking for an experienced People Manager and Marketer to lead across our Surface BG team. This team is responsible for a number of marketing initiatives and campaigns that engage our customers from the largest enterprises down to the smallest of SMB accounts including but not limited to: Device Evaluation and Trial, Events Experiences and Strategies, Partner Marketing Strategy and Programs across our depth and breadth partner communities, Industry Marketing Initiatives, Digital Marketing and Local Media Campaigns, and Surface Hub. Leading an amazing team of talented product marketing managers.
Partner closely with teams across the US Subsidiary (CMO, OCP, NSO) and WW (Marketing, Sales) to create marketing initiatives and programs that increase customer awareness, consideration, and ultimately purchase of Surface devices.
Drive creation and execution of marketing strategies that align to our business goals around product, industry, and segment.
Work across the immediate and broader team to build and land a comprehensive GTM plan based on corporate and local priorities, competitive dynamics, and economic drivers.
Work with OCP & partner channel to create and incubate new partner programs to drive growth in the commercial channels, and drive differentiated value propositions for Surface.
Work with CMO to create and incubate new marketing initiatives and experiences to drive end user engagement, trial, and consideration of Surface.
Collaborate across teams to create industry solutions and strategies that integrate Surface into broader cross cloud industry frameworks.
Work with finance and sales excellence to provide data and insights to support and drive effective business prioritization and decision-making to Leadership.
Serve as an ambassador for Surface across the US Subsidiary working across different solution area teams to partner on co-sell motions and campaigns (Surface + M365, Surface + WVD, etc).
Identify, assess, and prioritize marketing opportunities by working with our internal/external partners, sales, and engineering teams, and based on results determine which programs to grow and retire.

- 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
12+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
OR equivalent experience.
8+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
5+ years people management experience.
