Cognitiv Corp. Director of Machine Learning in Bellevue, Washington
Cognitiv Corp leverages deep learning and related technologies to build custom algorithms that more accurately predict consumer purchase behavior. Cognitiv Corp in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Director of Machine Learning to lead the development and implementation of the company's proprietary machine learning automation technologies.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
• Lead a team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Analysts to achieve company's objectives with regards to advancing machine learning projects, as well as assisting with the individual career goals of the direct report team members. • Use engineering best practices, combined with machine learning domain knowledge, to lead the development of new automation technologies end-to-end from prototyping and experimentation to production deployment. • Grow the team by interviewing and hiring new talent, as the company continues to scale. • Work closely with Research and Development, as well as Performance teams, to understand, and ensure implementation of, new and upcoming improvements in machine learning applications, as well as the latest ongoing machine learning research. • Oversee, and ensure implementation and use of, an Automation Roadmap. • Work closely with the Campaign Management team to understand current pain points and work bottlenecks, in order to develop project plans and processes for team based on subject matter expertise
This position will have project and personnel management responsibility. This position will manager approx. 6 direct reports with titles such as Data Scientist, Sr. Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Sr. Machine Learning Engineer and Principal Machine Learning Engineer.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or any other related IT or Engineering fields of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the requisite experience was gained.
Qualified Applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
- Experience with one or more of the following: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or MXNet
- NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, and Jupyter
- Programming language experience, including at least one of the following: Python, Scala, or C#
- AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience building machine learning and automation technologies from prototyping and experimentation to production and deployment
No Travel. WFH available 2 days a week, must be able to commute to office.
