Jacobs is growing in our Northwest Transportation and Ecosystem Restoration Science and Planning group . Over the past several years the Transportation/Ecosystems Team has positioned and successfully been selected for General Engineering Contracts (GEC). For the continued success and development of the team and these contracts, we are currently seeking a Commercial Manager . This is a leadership role that performs tasks related to the commercial terms of several large contracts and is critical to the success of the Olympic and South Central Region GEC’s.

As the Commercial Manager you will be the primary contact for the WSDOT Region GEC Business Manager (client counterpart) and the WSDOT Headquarters Contract Services Office (CSO). The position will regularly interface with the WSDOT Program Manager(s) and Business Manager(s) on three contracts, lead/participate in meetings between the GEC and Client PMs and oversee the establishment of business practices for each program.

In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple GEC Prime Contract and GEC Subconsultants. Specific responsibilities include:

· Maintaining excellent working relationships with the Client’s commercial, procurement, legal and finance teams as well as other key stakeholders.

· Providing commercial interface with the client (Business Management Branch of GEC) and other stakeholders, including internally with multiple markets, sub-markets, and departments, project controls and accounting for FAR compliance

· Coordinating externally with WSDOT Regions and CSO, and internally with the ERM, GEC leadership and PMs, GEC Manager of Projects, and other Jacobs leadership on contract negotiations including continuing/expanding access to global team members.

· Engaging sub-contractors, mentoring small and dis-advantaged businesses, overseeing the invoice cycle, and helping to establish and measure internal and external metrics for the program.

· Tracking and providing quarterly metrics used in an externally facing GEC Bulletin publication and internally in a GEC metrics report to Operations and Sales.

· Working with the ERM to help draft policy and process for inclusion in the Program/Project Management Plans and related program management operating guidelines.

The base salary range for this position is $122,100 to $213,700. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· A minimum of 15 years managing FAR compliant contracts, audits, pricing, negotiation and negation .

· Experience with managing a minimum of $50M GEC, MSA or other similar multiple task order contract(s).

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels within the organizations of the Client, GEC team, supply chain and other stakeholders

· Strong commercial business acumen and knowledge of contract management

· Experience developing and implementing commercial strategy

· Experience providing assurance and compliance of the GEC Contracts

· WSDOT Consultant Contract Management experience either as a WSDOT employee or as an A&E consultant desired.
