Synopsys, Inc. Applications Engineer, Sr. II in Bellevue, Washington
Provide technical & engineering expertise to support & improve usability, applicability & adoption of company EDA products, platforms & solutions in the design, verification, or emulation functional areas. Deploy solutions that help customers achieve tangible and lasting performance improvements in the cost, quality, and development time for their design projects. Manage multiple customer issues concurrently and lead deployment of Synopsys' solutions at customer sites. Responsible for the backend (mask layout) design process and advanced semiconductor process technology. Expected to refine problem descriptions and develop technical solutions. Suggest new product features. Set project-level goals. Involved in setting and implementing account strategy. Some work to be performed at local customer sites. Travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Requirements: Requires Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field and one (1) year of experience in any occupation in which digital and mixed signal ASIC design methodologies experience was gained. This position also requires education or experience in: 1) designing and supporting EDA/DFM products; 2) logic design/physical design and verification methodologies; 3) Perl/TCL/Shell Scripting; 4) EDA and DFM tool engineering; 5) ASIC design flow; and 6) Verilog/VHDL.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $176,404 to $190,000 per year. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
