The product assembler will assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, valves and more.
- Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, and other fasteners as required.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fits.
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Checks products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified issues and alerts supervisor.
- Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner and helps develop alternative solutions.
- Travel for drop off/pick up of some products
- Some welding possible
- Other duties as assigned
