Job Title: Manufacturing Plant Accountant / Cost Accountant

Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

Salary: $76,000+

About the role: We are looking for a proactive Plant Accountant / Cost Accountant who will play a key role in manufacturing accounting and control functions. The successful applicant will be tasked with performing account reconciliations (backlog), freight and payroll coding, and coding corrections.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage account reconciliations, particularly backlog

• Coordinate freight and payroll coding

• Facilitate coding corrections and monitor effects on broader financial health

• Utilize SAP software for fiscal management and reporting

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data

  Requirements

Requirements:

You’ll be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of experience OR an Associate’s degree in Accounting with 4-6 years of experience

• Proficient in SAP software

• Proven experience in account reconciliations

• Expertise in freight and payroll coding, as well as coding corrections

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Understanding of GAAP
