Acumatica is looking for a Technical Product Manager for our research and data science team!  

Product Management

  • Search for new AI/ML features and opportunities based on the customer needs, AI/ML technologies, Acumatica functionality and available data.

  • Translate business requirements and customer “pains” into detailed user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

  • Oversee data acquisition, preparation, and quality assurance processes to support AI/ML model development and deployment.

  • Manage data collection process for the ML research, provide correct labels and markups.

  • Speak with customers and partners as well as internal teams to understand how our product is customized and tailored to meet real-world scenarios.

  • Perform market analysis including research and technology assessment.

  • Perform usability testing and pilot experiments.

  • Execute new product release activities and coordination across the engineering team.

    Program Management

  • Define key performance metrics and evaluation criteria for AI/ML models.

  • Prepare and monitor quality metrics and drive improvements as needed.

  • Preparing requirements (user stories, functional, non-functional) for ML research, prototyping, and feature development.

  • Review functional design documents and work with the development team.

  • Run acceptance testing.

    Customer Success and Support

  • Collect feedback from customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders to iteratively refine AI/ML features and enhance user satisfaction.

  • Work with support to identify knowledgebase topics and assist with writing articles.

    You are a great fit for this position if: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.

  • You have business management software experience and 5+ years of product management, development, and delivery experience with SaaS business applications.

  • Experience with ERP or other complex software solutions.

  • Experience working with cloud service products/ microservice architecture.

  • You have a strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and technologies both for traditional and generative AI.

  • You have SQL knowledge to extract information from databases.

  • You enjoy spending time in the market to understand how customers customize and tailor our products and apply that knowledge to build innovative solutions.

  • You have experience working with cross-discipline, geographically dispersed teams.  

  • You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy.

  • You are detail-oriented and organized, with strong decision-making and time-management skills. 

  • You have large company experience, and you would like to apply to a smaller team. 

  • You know how to build an action plan, and lay out goals, strategies, tactics, and timelines. 

  • You are self-driven and realistic about your goals. 

  • Basic Business English is required for this role.

  • Business analysis experience will be a plus.
