LotusFlare, Inc. Social Media Manager (Nomad) in Belgrade, Serbia

Since 2021, Nomad has been disrupting the B2C and B2B travel space - our mission is to bring back authenticity, inspiration and fun into all aspects of travel, whether it be trip planning, trip inspiration, or travel logistics. We want to remove the fatigue and uncertainty from the whole process, and inspire travelers with places they didn’t even know they wanted to visit. We’ve started with addressing connectivity issues through our eSIM offering but are working on much more. You’ll get to be a core member of a small, passionate team working towards the next big thing in travel!

Summary

Reporting into the Nomad Lead, this role will involve execution and strategy work to support Nomad growth with social media marketing. You will work together with your colleagues to manage our global social media accounts, leveraging your familiarity with various platforms and tools. You will also be heavily involved in working with our partners to be effective ambassadors for our brand.

You will have a hand in shaping Nomad’s brand in the travel roaming space, and ensuring that brand values and personalities are authentically delivered through our online presence. You’re not representing a corporation, you’re representing a team of people building a product they love, for an audience they deeply care about.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Nomad’s social media accounts end-to-end, which primarily are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and Twitter

  • Identify, secure, and manage KOL partnerships, with a focus on both finding new partners to work with and ensuring a meaningful recurring relationship with existing KOLs.

  • Working with the product, marketing, and commercial partnerships team to promote and build the brand for Nomad

  • Focus on building an organic presence in our social community

  • Work cross-functionally with design, content, performance marketing, product and other teams

  • Measure, report, and analyze the performance of campaigns across channels and translate findings into actionable, data-driven recommendations in order to improve future performance 

  • Stay on the pulse of the social media landscape in order to generate better engagement in new channels

  • Build social campaigns based on global events and seasonal trends (e.g. Olympics, student travel, holidays)

    Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in social media management, particularly on the platforms noted above. Experience in product marketing management is a plus.

  • Focus on social / travel / leisure / hospitality companies a plus, as is experience with KOLs / influencers and SEO content generation

  • Bachelor’s in marketing related / social media related fields a plus but not required

  • Excellent spoken English - able to wield language skillfully to match a specified tone of voice and brand-led strategic messaging in, for example, copy-writing

  • Excellent organizational skills (keen planner, good at managing projects, attention to detail, and able to keep on top of a busy content calendar)

  • Strong business analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to managing metrics

  • Able to take ownership of initiatives and execute on ideas quickly, especially in environments where there are no “right answers”; love working in a startup environment and building things from 0 to 1

  • Able to work in a remote, distributed team
