Title: Network Run Manager

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Grade: 13

Network Run Manager is a key operations position responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the staff and infrastructure that operates a critical 24 x 7 technical environment. This individual will manage a global team responsible for data center, cloud, remote site, and data / voice day-to-day operations. Strong management, communication, and operational excellence are required.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, support, and optimize key functional areas, particularly in the support of network infrastructure and contract center operability.

  • Build, develop, and lead proactive problem management processes to ensure long-term network performance and stability driving towards a continuous improvement environment.

  • Project management of tasks required to maintain the network and voice infrastructure.

  • Oversight, organization, and motivation of all the team members of the Run Team.

  • 24/7 responsibility for network (voice and data) availability.

  • Build, develop, and lead a remote team of technical resources.

  • Ensure processes and resources are aligned with committed SLAs and KPIs.

  • Define processes and controls for on-call support.

  • Provide guidance and assistance to network operations to maintain availability and performance of network services at the highest possible levels.

  • Establish and maintain key relationships with strategic suppliers.

  • Lead recovery teams for incidents and prepare post-mortem root-cause analyses as required.

Basic Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Network Engineering and Operations.

  • Knowledge of network management platforms.

  • Broad and in-depth knowledge of internet infrastructure technologies.

  • Experience with all aspects of networking including IP, TCP, VPNs, Routers, Switches and Firewalls.

  • Experience ITIL Management Suite such as Service-Now.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills including the ability to communicate appropriate detail to all levels of management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams in multiple time zones.

  • Strong analytical skills, proven functional and technical analysis skills, and professional client interaction.

  • Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.

  • Flexibility with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Ability to work extended hours as required.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of overall work schedule.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, math, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Industry-recognized professional-level network certification.

Required Work Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in information technology and networking management responsibilities managing a 24x7 team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong ability in analysis and documentation for root-cause analyses.

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.

  • Ability to work with others to resolve problems and handle difficult requests or situations.

  • Knowledge of tunneling technologies such as L2 and L3 VPN's.

  • Knowledge in local and wide area networking communications.

  • Knowledge of hardware, network operating systems and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to provide continuous evaluation of the company's network infrastructure and initiate expansion or remediation projects to support growth and mitigate risks.

  • Knowledge of Switching and Routing Architectures.

  • Knowledge of support systems for network management and element management systems.

  • Knowledge of protocols such as OSPF, OSPF-TE, BGP, MPLS and SIP.

  • Knowledge of Transport Technologies CWDM, DWDM, SONET, T1, Ethernet and wireless technologies.

  • Knowledge of VOIP switching platforms.

  • Cisco Unified Communications experience and Cisco Contact Center experience.

  • Genesys Call Center experience

  • Understanding of network security concepts.
