Position Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Design & build the data infrastructure
Utilize different cloud and on-prem resources (Azure Cloud, EDW, EDL, Microsoft Servers, etc.) to bring the business data into view;
Automate data transformation processes through different ETL cloud and on prem tools; Test the data
Monitor database performance; Thorough testing and validating the data quality of imported data; Address data quality issues and help developers fix them;
Manipulate data through the different ETL tools to test the metrics needed for business analysis; Test the ETL logic, and advise changes if needed; Document the processes
Document all ETL steps on each KPI provided by the BI team; Create KPI metrics definitions and business documentation on KPI metric creation process;
Data stewardship for Field services metrics. Closely cooperate with IT in Data Catalogue creation for BI Products in the Field Services area. Mentor the team members on all the above processes
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Programming, or Mathematical sciences
OR 2-5 years of experience in Analytics, BI, Data engineering, or Big data field.
Technical skills:
• SQL - Proficient
• Cloud systems (MS Azure)
• Tableau Cloud (Power BI is a plus)
• MS Office
• Python, Scala, or another programming language is a plus
Other skills:
• English: B2 or higher is a must
• Strong critical thinker. High attention to details.
• Ability to understand the wider picture - what is measured and how it influences the company goals,
• Strong communication skills. Ability to efficiently communicate the findings to peers and management.
