Williams Plumbing / Civil Construction Inventory and Quality Coordinator in Belgrade, Montana

Williams is hiring an Inventory and Quality Coordinator to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. This role makes sure our inventory counts are accurate, orders are picked correctly, and the team works efficiently to get products out the door.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Inventory Control Management

  • Monitor, maintain, and adjust inventory levels for all commodity SKUs based on industry changes, business needs, and field requests.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Optimize inventory storage to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and easy product accessibility.

  • Order Picking & Accuracy

  • Ensure 97% picking order accuracy by verifying shipments, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with warehouse teams to resolve issues and develop solutions.

  • Implement and enforce best practices for efficient picking, packing, and shipping by working closely with warehouse teams to minimize errors, delays, and mis-picks.

  • Collaboration & Accountability

  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth product flow from receipt to shipment, providing training and guidance to maintain accuracy in order picking and inventory management.

  • Monitor team performance, foster accountability, and develop process improvements to reduce inventory inaccuracies and enhance operational precision.

  • Provide regular reports to management on inventory status, team performance, and operational issues, supporting continuous improvement efforts.

    WHAT YOU BRING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or a related field.

  • Experience working with a large SKU inventory system (5,000+ items).

  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and order picking technologies (e.g., barcode scanners, warehouse management software).

  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities as assigned.

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with team members, customers, and vendors.

  • Must possess, or can obtain, a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
