Markets Operations Belfast Overview:
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:
The Operations Senior Analyst will support Operations Markets team to put in place to support implementation of our Data Analytics & Reengineering strategy across our teams.
Initial functional scope of this role will include all Business Intelligence functions for Markets Operations but may be subject to change as a result of business priorities, programme budgets and overall transformation priorities.
What you’ll do:
Partner with Market Operations management to execute the analytics agenda and prioritize highest value use cases.
Evaluate the need for analytics, assess the problems to be solved and what data sources to use or acquire.
Drive exploration/experimentation in visualization and review benefits and value of analytics techniques and tools and recommend improvements.
Produces detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken.
Track record of delivering and managing large, technical data programs across multiple businesses and geographies
Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
Works with Operations stakeholders and builds and manages relationships.
What we’ll need from you:
Previous experience using tools for statistical modelling of large data sets
Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
Experience with SQL is preferred
Ability to monitor tight deadlines, or unexpected requirement changes
Strong ability to establish, build and maintain strong effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
