Central Service Association Software Developer (Level 1) in Belden, Mississippi

To assist in the designing and testing of program logic, coding programs, program documentation and preparation of programs for computer operations, collaborate with teammates to determine the scope and expectations of the project, produce clean, efficient code based on specifications or programming standards, integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, gather and evaluate user feedback from our customer service group, and making software adjustments as necessary.

Position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or its equivalent. Applicant must have working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, browser, server and database interaction as is related to web application development, knowledge of Java, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, GIT and SQL, working knowledge of the MVC design pattern as related to web development, working knowledge in Scala, SBT, Play Framework, SQL server and/or PostgreSQL, basic design principles along with ability to write SQL to perform updates and deletions.
