Summary: In this role you will conduct inspections of vehicles at a fixed third-party auction site. You will assess the vehicle condition of vehicles being sold at the auction and record any damage or repair required for the frame, paint, AC, radio, tires, etc. All inspections are performed using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software. Inspections are performed in compliance with the client’s inspection routine and guidelines. This role is for you if you have a keen eye for detail, are looking for a position where you can use your communication skills and are willing to be out and about inspecting vehicles during daylight and in all weather conditions.

What you will need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-3 years of experience in the automobile field (i.e, body mechanic shop, inspections, etc.) preferred

  • Body, paint and mechanical knowledge a plus

  • Valid state issued driver’s license and safe driving record required

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle

  • Ability to stand, walk or sit for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel

  • Ability to hold at least 10 lbs for an extended period

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Vision abilities required including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

  • Regular and consistent availability and attendance

Salary: $16-19 DOE
