Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Lead Software Engineer in Beijing, China

In this position within Cadence Beijing Device modeling R&D department, you will be joining or leading compact device modeling projects for Spectre SPICE engine, Spectre®

Accelerated Parallel Simulator (Spectre APS), and Spectre® Extensive Partitioning Simulator (Spectre XPS) which includes industry advanced FinFET or MOSFETs, Power and III-IV devices. You will be participating in all aspects of Spectre device modeling development, which include optimization for device modeling and characterization, with an emphasis on physics based compact SPICE model development. You will interact with key customers as well as colleagues from Applications, Circuit Design, Test and Validation, and New Product Introduction to master understanding of the full product life cycle of the new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Master degree plus 3 4 years related working experience or Ph.D degree

  • Strong coding background or working experience with C/C++

  • Familiar with the semiconductor physics, devices, circuit design is a plus

  • Familiar with the development VerilogA/VHDL models, is a plus.

  • Familiar with the methods of numerical analysis and matrix calculation, is a plus.

  • Know the script language, such as Perl, Python, Tcl, is a plus.

  • Knowledge in circuit analysis and simulation tools, such as Spectre/Hspice, is a plus.

  • Good English communication skill both verbally and writing.

  • Good problem solving skill and team work spirit.
