AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with the GCR Marketing and Global Lead Management teams to manage and optimize the lead flow process, including lead scoring, upload, routing, reporting and performance management.

  • Lead goal setting, tracking and communications for GCR Marketing.

  • Recommend metrics and build reports in Salesforce or Tableau to quantify business impact from GCR Marketing activities.

  • Build enablement capabilities and drive data adoption.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports, trends and insights.

  • Conduct regular business reviews within GCR Marketing and contribute actively in global reviews.

A day in the life

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager for the GCR Marketing organization. This role will own business planning, reporting, analysis and operations for GCR Marketing. You will be responsible for designing and managing the business processes to run the organization, budget management, reporting and lead flow process. You will work closely with the GCR Marketing, and the global leadership team to establish best practices, drive operational cadence and process improvement, and deliver analytical insights.

This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen, and exceptional written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will be data-driven and has a strong understanding of Marketing KPIs and go-to-market channels. The candidate will be adept at building models, reports and tools with a deep understanding of the underlying analytics, and the ability to assimilate new methodologies and data sources. The individual will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, possesses strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
