Accenture CDTS V&A, PMI Manager in Beijing, China

We are seeking a highly-qualified professional to join the Post Merger Integration (PMI) Team in China to support the AAPAC region. The PMI team is part of CDTS (under Finance) that is responsible for Venture & Acquisitions (V&A). and work with Senior Management throughout the firm, across all Client Group, Growth Platforms, and Geographies.

The PMI Team manages the integration of acquired companies and Go to Market Joint Venture launch projects, partners directly with the Sponsoring Organization of the acquisition or JV., drives mobilization of all front and back office teams, establishes the governance framework, works with the deal team and sponsors to design the integration model, drives all planning, budgeting, and execution. At the end of integration, the PMI team facilitates handover to operations.

The PMI position may require domestic travel

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the Manager PMI position include the following:

  • Educate new deal teams on the nuances of PMI;

  • Co-develop and document with Sponsors on Target Operating Model and Organizational Model

  • Develop Integration strategy and approach as well as Integration Guiding Principles

  • Set up Integration Governance

  • Implement proven tools, best practices across all Integration Teams

  • Oversee all PMI activities on assigned deals

  • Develop key integration tasks, including: kick-off integration materials, team charters and workplans and the establishment of program management office

  • Coordinate activities across integration teams and functions; facilitate the identification and resolution of integration issues

  • Document PMI progress and provide status reports to leadership

  • Establish and track the PMI budget to direct productive PMI spending by emphasizing cost efficiency in integration planning

  • Develop PMI Intellectual Property, including briefing decks, checklists, templates, and position papers

  • Work together with PMI Country Lead and country Leadership on overall integration management under country level

Candidates should have a minimum of five to eight years’ experience in internal facing positions (e.g., Internal Audit, Business Operations, Finance, HR, etc.) or has Consulting background with extensive client exposure. Knowledge about Venture and Acquisition would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate should also possess the following attributes:

  • English and Mandarin proficiency, both verbal and written (multi-language skills preferred)

  • Ability to manage complex projects in multicultural environment

  • Ability to articulate and document in a clear and compelling manner

  • Strong program management skills

  • Leadership, professional maturity and personal integrity

  • Robust collaborative skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Evidence of excellence in previous employment positions

  • PMP certified preferred

  • Candidate to be based in Beijing or Shanghai, China
