Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

TX Ortho is seeking Medical Assistants for their specialty clinic. Candidates will be responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, answering or referring inquiries, assisting physicians with medical tasks such as vital signs, and assisting patients. Additional responsibilities include calling in medication, taking medical history, explaining treatments and procedures to patients, preparing them for procedures, ensuring exam rooms are prepped, and coordinating treatment with other facilities or physicians.

Hard Skills

• 1+ years experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

• MA Certification preferred but not required with significant experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail

• Ortho experience is a plus

Soft Skills

• Quick learner

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Excellent communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bedford, Texas.
