1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

Are you ready to power up your career as a Forklift Driver? In this role, you’ll operate electric-powered industrial trucks with precision and care, ensuring products, materials, and equipment are safely and efficiently moved throughout the facility. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Efficient Material Handling: Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials to transport, load, and unload items to designated areas.

· Inventory Tracking: Use a Radio Frequency (RF) system to list materials and record weight, counts, and conditions of frozen food items.

· Safety and Maintenance: Complete daily forklift maintenance checklists, lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand processes, and ensure all safety precautions are followed.

· Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.

· Battery Management: Monitor battery charge levels, maintain and clean batteries, and properly store material handling equipment at designated charging stations.

Additional Duties:

· Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as needed.

· Communicate with semi-truck drivers to coordinate safety measures and ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience: Previous forklift driving experience is preferred but not required.

· Skills: Basic math skills and familiarity with RF systems for tracking inventory.

· Adaptability: Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage and up to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage while wearing company-provided protective gear.

· Physical Capability: Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. (18 kgs), with weight requirements varying by facility.

· Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.

· Environment Awareness: Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.

· Communication: Ability to understand and follow instructions in the facility’s official language.
