Overview: This position will be focused on a high growth area and is critical for our success, with visibility across the organization and daily communication with our sales team. We are looking a highly energized, entrepreneurial individual looking for an opportunity to lead. Responsibilities: Lead service and repair activities across the Midwest customer base by coordinating key activities for service and repair. Supporting the Automotive, Automation and Bearing & PT businesses. Responsible for owning the end-to-end intake, tracking & monitoring and return of assets to customers. Work closely with sales team on receiving requests for repair services, and coordination of logistics of obtaining the parts as required. Consult with primary vendors repair needs, coordinate logistics of sending parts to be repaired to the vendors. Managing the data in the ERP system and Service & Repair log including order entry, submitting Vendor PO, and vendor acknowledgement information, keeping information to update. Work with a sense of urgency and overserve our top customers. Follow up with vendors and communicate with sales or customers on past due items. Follow up with sales on open quotes and communicate aging assets needing resolution 30 days prior to scraping. Work closely with warehouse lead assigned to support Service and Repair at primary locations. Serve as a customer advocate by communicating with vendors, and warehouse lead to expedite customer sales orders. Complete necessary reports and paperwork on a timely basis and assist in collecting delinquent accounts when necessary. Work to streamline and continuously improve processes by recommending improvements, educating sales team, and supporting continuous improvement Kaizens. Support accounts payable activities for asset repair vendors as required. Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good time management skills. Good mechanical aptitude. Computer experience and aptitude. Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors. A commitment to the concept of "doing it right the first time." Job Requirements: High School Diploma, College Preferred. Related Customer Service experience and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Strong computer skills (order entry, inquiry, purchasing, internet sourcing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
