Position Summary:
Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care, while continuing as a Nursing Student in good standing.
Provides nursing students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an actual hospital setting.
Essential Functions:

Demonstrates concern for patient welfare by performing activities other than primary care needs Drag Edit Delete
Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures
Reports to: Department Director
Minimum Education Must show proof of acceptance into a Registered Nursing program. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills BLS - to be obtained within 30 days
