Nike Senior Principal, GPS Facilities Management in Beaverton, Oregon

At Nike’s Global Places & Services (GPS) organization, we design and bring to life physical environments and experiences for Nike and the athlete* in more than 100 cities around the world. We deliver GPS’s key capabilities in location, built environments, events, sport, nutrition and mobility, through our strategic partners and third-party providers.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Sr. Director of GPS Services and serve as a member of GPS’s Services Leadership Team. You will work closely with the members of the GPS Services Leadership team, members of the broader GPS Leadership team, teammates in the GPS locations around world and managers within Nike’s global functions such as Procurement and Technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Sr Principal of Facilities Management who will guide GPS’s Center of Excellence for Facilities Management (FM). This role will oversee the development of the vision, strategy and planning of FM for GPS and partner with cross functional teams to develop standards and processes; define tools, metrics and KPI’s and connect them to GPS’s strategy.

The candidate needs:

  • Expertise in Facilities Management

  • Knowledge of workplace solutions and services.

  • Expertise in supervising and managing partner and supplier relationships

  • Ability to think strategically, developing strategic plans, relationships and supervising with an enterprise approach

  • Transformative problem-solving skills with talent for orchestrating and directing strategy implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and operationalize complex programs to meet commitments that are aligned with organizational goals in a dynamic, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.

  • High profile verbal, logical and visual communication skills and the ability to express concepts and ideas with clarity and persuasion to influence business partners across all levels of the organization

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with GPS and other key Nike partners

  • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or combination of relevant education, experience.

  • Experience: at least 10 years direct relevant work experience with progressive leadership responsibilities in Facilities Management.

  • Leadership of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives at a Fortune 500 company

  • Proven contracting, financial evaluation and program management skills with knowledge of legal terminology and language related to supplier agreements

  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly-matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external partners.

  • Highly-developed communication skills – in verbal, written and graphic forms

  • This role may require travel to understand and influence local initiatives and partners

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working closely with Nike leaders around the world to translate GPS’s business strategies to how it applies to Facilities Management at Nike locations. You will define the strategies, scope, roadmaps, tiers, services levels and expected quality for FM executions. You will partner with the Standards team for define processes, standards, tools metrics and KPI’s globally. You will support the local teams to implement the standards, processes and tools defined globally.
