Nike Senior Manager, Global Purchase to Pay Business Support in Beaverton, Oregon

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for Global Business Support Senior Manager responsible for the oversight of our Global Purchase to Pay Customer Support Operations both on and off shore. You will need to bring a stong ability to lead a large cross functional and multi-cultural team, cultivate and grow strong working relationships with internal and external partners while ensuring smooth and successful daily operations for Purchase to Pay activities across the globe. Your experience will support Nike to identify and lead financial risk and compliance requirements while defining process optimization opportunities globally!

You will be able to influence through data, understand how to problem solve with a focus on process, and communicate effectively. In this sense, a consistent track record of strong Purchase to Pay expertise, building consensus, leading complex stakeholder landscapes, and an ability to build and maintaining trust with our partners, as we implement our long term Finance Transformation.

You are by nature a self-starter, balanced by being a great leader and manager with a collaborative approach.

You have a proven history of getting things done in ambiguous operating environments, with the ability to implement significant change and standardize processes in service of Nike Inc’s Digital Transformation.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be responsible for the operational performance of our Managed Service Provider, while being the lead for escalations. Developing action plans to address issues that resulted in team member impacts as a result of missed performance targets will be key to success.

You will be providing enhanced business support for Global P2P (Purchase to Pay) operations and our many cross functional partners. You will collaborate with your Accenture Team’s Global & Geo Leads on multiple service delivery activities including, problem resolution, governance & operations, analytics, KPIs, and service delivery driven through our dashboard metrics. Additionally you will be responsible for elevating process improvement to our Global Process Owner, developing and maintaining strong relationship, and championing our Global P2P Policies and Procedures.

A typical week looks like:

  • Daily meetings with our offshore teams to support

  • Managing performance, providing guidance, and ensuring alignment on process

  • Weekly cross-function connection points with your key partners to drive awareness and resolution while maintaining strong working relationships

  • Delivering a globally standardized and scalable Purchase to Pay function while ensuring that our Managed Service Provider upholds excellent customer service

  • Elevating Purchase to Pay across the enterprise as well as engaging in a multi-year transformation driven by our Strategic Enterprise Capability

  • Operationalizing performance for our Travel & Business Expense credit card program

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Global Purchase to Pay is a diverse, inclusive, and hardworking team. In your role on this team you will report directly to the Global Purchase to Pay Director.

Daily, you will work with cross functional teams in:

  • Global P2P including, Global Invoice to Pay and Global Purchasing Operations

  • Global Controlling functions including accounting and Geo Shared Delivery Leads

  • Global Procurement including Vendor Master Data Team, and Global Legal Department

  • Global Finance functions including Tax and Treasury

  • All business users who need to make a purchase and pay at Nike, globally

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8-9 years directly relevant work experience. Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience partnering with various internal clients and external vendors globally

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments

  • Experience in highly cross-functional global business environment with the ability to effectively communicate at various levels

  • Experience in accounting functions preferred
