Nike Manager, Change Management – Human Resources in Beaverton, Oregon


  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

  • 5+ years of directly related experience

  • Experience delivering change management approaches and results in complex project landscapes

  • Project Management experience in developing and implementing project work backs, timelines and budgets

  • Proven track record in communicating plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis

  • Experience initiating and driving the ideation process contributing meaningful, innovative approaches to the business

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail

  • Ability to comprehend business needs, synthesize technical and specialized knowledge and translate them into a cohesive strategy

  • Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work well with a large variety of personalities at all levels of business


We are looking for a Manager, Change Management to join NIKE HR’s Change Management Office (CMO) and help implement NIKE, Inc.’s vision to build a company that moves at the speed of the consumer. You’ll work on cross-functional project teams to help facilitate and accelerate Nike’s transition into new ways of working through detailed planning, organizing and implementation of change.

The Change Manager will partner with teams for large-scale changes through deliberate and thoughtful transition strategies. Within your role, you will use your experience to collaborate with the NIKE HR Change Management team, your program and project teams, Communications partners and other HR and cross-functional teammates to create and maintain plans and change experiences that emphasize collective readiness, create effective and coordinated activation and facilitate long-term behavior adoption.


The Change Manager with work internal and external business partners to interpret business issues and recommend standard and innovative change management methodology practices. This person will help solve sophisticated problems and take a broad perspective to identify effective solutions by:

  • Using a change management framework to design effective approaches, plan the change journey, design and create tools and templates, and evaluate strategies as part of an integrated CMO Practice.

  • Measuring efficiency – solicit feedback and listen to partners to evaluate the transition landscape to generate user-centric updates or innovative approaches for improving change culture.

  • Using data and other findings to propose, test and establish innovative approaches and channels, content and tools that support team member needs and organizational goals.

  • Serving as a liaison with other transition teams at Nike, as appropriate
