Walmart Analyst II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

What you'll do...

As a Process Engineer Analyst, you'll implement process improvement tools and strategies, delivering tangible results through KPI analysis, and actively driving the integration of the Walmart Performance System.

Position Summary:

As a Process Engineer Analyst, you'll use your technical expertise and leadership skills to lead process improvements within our Distribution Center. You'll use your experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution and your knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools, you'll analyze performance indicators, standardize work processes, and lead savings projects to enhance efficiency.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and implement process improvement tools, such as 5S, root cause analysis, and six sigma, in a Distribution Center to minimize losses and enhance efficiency.

  • Deliver tangible results in the assigned functional area through analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and by standardizing work to reduce process variation.

  • Assist in the review, response, and execution of process improvement projects, and support area managers to enhance their capability and performance.

  • Develop operational tools related tostatistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Active involvement in the deployment of the Walmart Performance System (WPS) program methodology, including conducting gap analysis to aid its integration.

  • Lead savings projects within the your responsibilities, supporting department managers with WPS programs, and striving for KPI improvements and associate engagement.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution, preferably with practical application of Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or experience in Process Improvement.

  • Knowledge in engineering principles, methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.

  • Ability to analyze operational processes, conduct time and motion studies, and design effective manufacturing systems.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, R, SQL) and web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience building cooperative relationships and sharing ideas.

  • Demonstrated ability in planning and improvement, managing execution and results, focusing on the customer/member, and using appropriate judgment in decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$100,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

  • Stock
